VS Sustainability-driven entrepreneurship and transformation (6 ECTS)

Within this course, students work in interdisciplinary teams on challenges in the context of sustainable development and transformation. Following an entrepreneurial approach, they collaborate with a practice partner (intrapreneurship) or focus on their individual topic (entrepreneurship).

What you can expect:

  • developing a solution to a specific problem from an idea into a viable project or business plan
  • exchange with practice partners (e.g., NGOs, public administration and politics, companies, consultants) on practical issues of societal and economic transformation

Learning outcome:

  • identifying and seizing opportunities based on their understanding of sustainability-driven entrepreneurship and its relation to transformation
  • defining methods to develop circular design solutions as well as methods to measure societal impact and classify their relevance related to ecological, social and economic criteria
  • estimating the relevance of intellectual property
  • naming and qualifying possible sources for financing sustainable ventures
