The course gives an introduction to entrepreneurship and innovation. It motivates participants to think about commercializing their own research either in form of a new venture or project inside an established organization. Participants evaluate entrepreneurship and/or innovation within an existing organization as career paths.

- Study trip / company visit (e.g., WeXelerate, INiTS, accent)
After completing the course participants know about and will be able to:
- Identify a business opportunity
- Design a sustainable business model (sustainable dimensions integrated into core business activity)
- Write a business plan
- Utilize resources for exploiting business (e.g., finance, IPR, team, …)
