Within this course, students work in interdisciplinary teams on challenges in the context of sustainable development and transformation. Following an entrepreneurial approach, they collaborate with a practice partner (intrapreneurship) or focus on their individual topic (entrepreneurship).
What you can expect:
- developing a solution to a specific problem from an idea into a viable project or business plan
- exchange with practice partners (e.g., NGOs, public administration and politics, companies, consultants) on practical issues of societal and economic transformation
Learning outcome:
- identifying and seizing opportunities based on their understanding of sustainability-driven entrepreneurship and its relation to transformation
- defining methods to develop circular design solutions as well as methods to measure societal impact and classify their relevance related to ecological, social and economic criteria
- estimating the relevance of intellectual property
- naming and qualifying possible sources for financing sustainable ventures
