The aim of our project is to develop an information and motivation program using behavioral psychology to change eating habits that are harmful to health and the environment towards a more sustainable lifestyle. This is to be planned and implemented as a multi-week program called “Meals For Future” in combination with delivered food boxes.
Customers will be carefully introduced to the topic through targeted “nudging”, i.e. a system of small, subtle motivational nudges. In specialist literature, this is considered one of the most promising ways to bring about a long-term change in behavior and habits. The program is therefore designed to help people who have a personal interest in environmental protection, personal development and health, but are unable to integrate this into their daily lives due to lack of time, habit or excessive demands.
The details are as follows: The delivery boxes contain food for one meal a day in uncooked, pre-packaged form and are delivered directly to the customer on a weekly basis. Customers receive the recipes and the actual program digitally, which is the main focus of the start-up. The program initially focuses on the connection between nutrition, psyche, health and environmental issues as well as the individual influence on these factors.
