The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) is the national funding institution for business-related research and development in Austria. FFG grants facilitate or enable the financing of research and innovation projects and thus help to cushion the research risk. The FFG supports international networking and promotes scientific careers.
Impact Innovation
The FFG funding program “Impact Innovation” encourages you to find or test your ideas with innovation methods and covers half of your costs. It is important to have a process in which all stakeholders are involved in order to develop an effective solution from new ideas. It doesn’t have to be highly technological, but an innovative and alternative approach and a socially relevant topic will suffice – ideal for students with a good idea and not so much technology behind it.
